Hello Everyone,
Our testing team unearthed a few remaining bugs in the vBSEO 2.0 Final release made yesterday. These bugs have already been corrected.
We are now providing an updated vBSEO 2.0 Final release. All testers are urged to download and install it ASAP to correct those issues.
Peformance: Some testers have reported an increase in server load after installing RC8. We believe we have isolated the issue in the latest vBSEO 2.0 Final. If you noticed additional server load, please install this release and provide us with an update.
Here is a summary of updates included in vBSEO 2.0 Final (Re-release):
(1) Compatibility with the "Geek Article System" (both vB 3.0.x version & vB 3.5.x beta version) has been established.
(2) Fixed an issue causing options to be reset, which allowed the following additional bugs to be corrected. This problem was the source of the issue with missing and/or incorrect menubar items on the navbar.
(3) Corrected an issue that caused the 'new' and 'last' post URLs on the forum homepage to be redirected, but not rewritten.
(4) When adding image size attributes, vBSEO now ensures that the image does not already have image sizes specified before adding those provided in the vBSEO Admin CP. This fixes an issue that allowed duplicate image height and width attributes to be added to any image with these attributes already included.
Install Instructions:Download Location: Testers may download vBSEO from their User Control Panel at the http://www.vbseo.com forums. Under the "Miscellaneous" section, there will be a link to "Download vBSEO".
