    Hello Mike ,

We never followed same version numbers with vBulletin as it was impossible for us to do as vBSEO 3.3.2 supports all vBulletin 3.x versions. Same will be applied to vBSEO 3.5.0 . vBSEO 3.5.0 will support vBulletin 3.x versions + vBulletin 4 within a single package ( different product files )

I've just mirrored my running board in a different domain as a test forum just to play with vB 4.0.
Dude, I have to say that 4.0 is pretty tricky in several aspects and Beta3 is pretty far from Gold. There're lots of bugs, some of them pretty important I might say.
Just like I suspected, all mods and templates are gone forever. There's no way to use them without rewriting everything to be compatible with.

I hardly recomend, do not install 4.0 Beta in a production board, specially if you have a custom styles, mods and templates. I can tell you, you're gonna kill your self after that.

    Example:
    vBulletin Community Forum

    Everything is after the ?
in HTTP this is as good as optional parameters. It isn't even considered inside the path info..

It's even worse because there is no actual parameter. There is no t=something, just a string there. That's as good as a hashed link for parsing and using ... I hate that
....lol...lol....sorry it's not about you, but it was the same thing I've noticed after 4 Beta installation. This is in fact vB 4 plans to be their SEO feature. Don't ask me about it... I just realised it when I disabled all plug ins including vBSEO and all urls were still like your example.
Check SEO settings....change to default url format and your urls will be back to what 3.x urls used to be. Probably guys here from vBSEO team will have to play a lot about this...

I'm still thinking if 4.0 will worth the hell of job we will all have to do to have our forums working back again with all mods, design, add-ons, plugins, etc.... As a matter of new features and everything I can't see much, may be with new templates we can save server resources but who has this installed in a big production site to confirm that ???

How about an update? Will the current RC work well with a fresh install of vbulletin suite 4.0? Bought a new license of both for a new site an want to make sure all will be OK.

    Thanks!

There are a few bugs, but in general it works fairly well. RC2 is due out soon if you want to wait a few days.

I have had no real issues that I would say is a show stopper (Runing VB4 Gold and RC1 VBseo)

The issues that have come out are relatively just an annoyance, I would sya go with it, then your part of the team that helps define the gold release of VBseo even Better Make sure you ask gor Site Generator 2.6 from these guys

3.5 RC2 Final will be released concurrent (or shortly after) vB 4.0.2 this week. If no major bugs arise, we will proceed to release gold shortly after. Otherwise, a short RC (RC3) phase will follow before releasing Gold.
