I have had my index.php as various things, from vbadvanced to a news-addon from vbulletin.org. However, I've always had a link to ..../forums.php as my main forum front end.

So, I'm all ok, right, for when the cms comes with vb4?

Glad to see it will work on all versions, I converted one site to IPB then back to vB as I missed vBSEO. Just purchased the vB suite for one license, not sure if i'll be doing the same for others in the future so would like to keep vBSEO on those sites that I may not upgrade.

vBulletin Beta 3 Released to Customers NOW

so when we are going to get vbseo3.5

I would think when vB4 goes Gold. I hope not though :(

Vb has just released v4 Beta 3 to download.

I have 2 questions:

1. When will be released vbseo 3.5? (I have to wait for vbseo 3.5 in order to install the new vbulletin) because:

2. We have many high ranked internal pages in our forum. Will those urls keep the same structure ang google ranking will not be affected?

1. Currently vB4 has re-writen the core in a way that any version of vBSEO prior to 3.5 will not work. Though we would love to be able to release a Beta version, vB's code is being updated on each new release, making it difficult for us to be to insure reliability. For this reason we are targetting the release of vBSEO 3.5 at the same time, or close after vB4 goes Gold.

2. Yes you will still be able to keep the same URL structure, and this is why I would encourage both yourself and anyone else to wait for vB4 and vBSEO 3.5 to both reach gold before making the move. It's not worth losing all your indexed URL's just for chance of rolling out vB4 a few weeks early.

Maybe you can release a vBSeo 3.5 beta so we can start to use the suite beta now?

I would like to use the new vB Suite but I am dependent of vbseo. Or can I still install the new vB 4 Suite and current vbseo works fine for the forum part but not CMS?

With vBulletin, it might not be a few weeks but a solid two months or more. Not to be pessimistic but they have been really bad keeping up with the promised dates, that's just the way it is.

It would be great if we could have a 3.5 preview, since I am rolling out a test server for the 4.0 beta boards... maybe with a bunch of disclaimers that it shouldn't be used for production. I would even renew my vbseo license for that as it is currently expired.

Roll out vbseo 3.5 beta I would say, the changes to vb 4 that affect vbseo gold release is very non existent during beta testing. And if any changes do happen, you can fix it for the gold release.

I would like to see a vbseo that works for beta available now, to make pre-orders of vb4 customers happy.

We will have an official announcement regarding these topics shortly.

I would also love to have a vBSEO 3.5 Beta - not for testing it in productivity but to test it on my vB 4.0 Testsystem.

Since VB4 beta has been opened up, I think a VBSEO beta needs to be opened up as well
