The "Likes Tree" REDUX

there is a major difference between google +1 and vbseo like.

vbseo like is aimed at liking individual posts. google +1 is for entire pages.

We as a team here at vbseo aren't totally sold on the +1 bandwagon. It seems like it may be a fad that simply fades away without every taking off

Has anyone noticed problems with Firefox5? On big threads (>100 pages) the tree doesn't work when you click to see the liked posts. Has been cross verified along my members as well.

Interesting... I just checked a thread on my personal site, and the CDN requests don't seem to work on high page threads... just times out on firefox 5.

We mean that our likes system is a totally different and separately to vBulletin reputation system, However you can use our import system to import vbulletin reputation system to vBSEO likes system from the importer that comes with vBSEO package in this directory :

No, that is not how the system is designed. The like goes to the post, not to the poster.

Eventually (in a later version), the sitemap will use these likes to better determine sitemap priority from human interaction instead of just arbitrary numbers based on view count and date of last post.

That would be a good improvement.

There is an importer available in the download package for vbseo 3.6. The likes system is an option in the CP.
