Arrow Important: Please Verify Your vBSEO Licenses

Hello everyone,

As some of you may have noticed, we just launched a new feature that displays information about all of your vBSEO licensed forums within your User Control Panel in the downloads section:

http://www.vbseo.com/downloads/

All of your licenses vBSEO forums will be listed at the top.

This information is visible to vBSEO Staff & YOU ONLY. Other users cannot view your license info.

The list will contain the following info for each of your vBSEO-enabled forums:
  • Forum URL
  • Type (PayPal or 2Checkout purchase)
  • Transaction ID (Your Order #)
  • Date of Purchase
  • Renewal Date (After which you must renew for access to upgrades)
  • Status (Open or Expired)
Note: We are currently upgrading our renewal system. Therefore, please do not be alarmed if you have a license that has been expired. We will continue to allow you access to upgrades until the new system is launched as a special bonus offer from the vBSEO Team.

However, if you notice that one or more of your forums is NOT listed, please contact us via our support system ASAP so that we can update your registration information.

After February 28th, we will be archiving any forums that are not assigned to one of our customers, and moving them from the registration system. At this time there appear to be as many as 25-50 forums that are not yet assigned, which may be impacted. Please let us know if you are one of the forum admins affected.

This is dumb.

You should spend more time building features that customers want, like branding-free option, and less time annoying customers.

And anyway, some of us wouldn't really want it to be public information which forums we have license for with vBSEO. Privacy is an important issue.

I can't see yours, and you can't see mine. There's no privacy issue involved.

Perhaps if you spent less time calling things dumb, you would have noticed that the information is only viewable by yourself.

This is the first step in allowing those extra features. No one sees your information but you.

viewable to self or not, i dont like it, i dont like the fact my address etc can be viewed there, it should be encrypted into the database and not shown :S

other features are ok, and i think there should be an option to show forums or not. to the public that is.

Perhaps if you spent less time typing useless replies and actually comprehend what's being said you'd notice that this isn't the primary issue I'm referring to.
