Thanks for this offer vBSEO and kudos to the guys at Gravity. I was looking for a package like this for a long time after ditching Google Analytics. Just installed and will report back after comparing the peak time server stats and page load times.
Btw. for how long this premium account is valid? Is there an expiry?
Mert, I wouldn't say that. I used to get some pretty dump stats from GA.Google Analytics is 100% correct and accurate but i know you believe it is not and you can continue to believe that.

I think the live stream threads page is working in reverse, when it loads the latest two threads vanish. So your stats start at number 3, I think it should be taking the threads out from the other end.![]()
hi James,
Insights is running on several of the top 10 most popular forums on the internet right now and we've done a lot to make sure there is as little load on the server as possible. Within a typical vbulletin request cycle you'd be hard pressed to have insights show up anyway near the top of a profiling session. Insights also does not talk to your database in anyway so that IO bottleneck is avoided.
If you were to profile server processing time of all the vbulletin, additional plugins and network transfer time for images, icons, style sheets, and javascript files (cached or not cached) I think you'd find insights to perform quite well.
If you do see anything specific please let us know asap and we'll look into it.
thanks
Jim
that is definitely an accurate statement, the fact google and most other (including insights) rely on client side javascript for stat collecting by definition means total accuracy will not be achieved. If you turn off javascript you will no longer be tracked as a visitor.
All these services should be used to judge trends on your site.
Hello Insights, i dont see insights link in downloads section, or is that because my expired vbseo license?
We'd also love to hear any features that you guys might be looking for to help with analyzing either trends in your forums or trends across all your sites (in case you have multiple forums you run).
We have some exciting features that no one else has that are in the works so it will definitely be a great year coming up.
Oh I don't doubt you ... I just think it would have been common sense to let people know on the announcement if their server was sluggish already to judge if this is what they need or not...
I see far too many people always slapping this plugin in and that plugin in... Its a new shiny object and they must have it .. Then comes the time when their server starts to degrade and not respond and they wonder why...
I am not saying that insights itself would cause issues so please nobody misunderstand what I say ... I am just saying always with any plugins judge for yourself if it really is something you need. If not then bypass, you do not have to install every new plugin that comes out.
Mostly I have seen this with wordpress users and not so much with VB but still ... I am just saying always understand the more you add the more resources it will use.. Is it worth it in the long run to have it or not ... Everyone has a different setup so only "you" yourself can judge if you need something or not ...
