After you download the compressed archive of our plugin (zip file), decompress it. It will create a folder called "insights" that will contain our plugin files. You should read the file called README.TXT for specific information before completing the install.

In short, you copy the entire folder up to your web server's doc root and following the instructions for how to enable the plugin in vBulletin's admin panel.

In the first 24 hours of enabling the Gravity Insights plugin, you'll only see our real-time data. After 24 hours, you'll see more information.

You only need 1 account. Your account will be automatically created when you download our plugin. If you have more than one site, you can add your additional vbseo sites to your Gravity account by selecting each site using the drop down list on the vbseo downloads page for Gravity Insights. When you login to Gravity Insights, you should see each site you downloaded a plugin for on the Settings > Site Settings page.

I have one particularly busy forum (approaching 100k posts a week). By installing this software, what permission am I giving to Project Rover, Inc. with regards to usage of data collected from my site? I've looked at your site and the information under 'Information Sharing' seems a bit bland/generic. What is your business model built on ($99/Free isn't going to keep Gravity running)?

what is the path to your forums? You probably uploaded it to your document root instead of your forum root (the forum can't find the insights.php file). You should upload the insights package as a subfolder in your forums folder.

Is a discrepancy in reported visitors normal? vB is reporting 343 visitors online (67 members, 276 guests), but Insights is only reporting 37 visitors (of which only 10 are displayed on the Dashboard). Is this correct?

Also a request: could you please provide a timezone option and adapt the x axis of the dashboard graphic accordingly. The current graphic time slots are very confusing, as they don't match my current timezone (CET).

First, regarding traffic, posts, pageviews, etc., we can handle tracking an individual site that has twice as many posts as you mention...and we do.

Regarding Terms of Service and Privacy, we feel that we have clearly defined both very well. Otherwise, the data is used to generate the reports for you account and to help us build what we call The Interest Graph. Can you be more specific about which part of Insights you think has a discrepancy? Real-time Users Online? Visitors chart? Traffic chart?
