just downloaded the plugin, uploaded to the root directory, and about to get things poppin! =)

Good morning folks. Just wanted to say I'm seeing some good results with vBSEO so far and that I'm happy that I decided to buy it. Have a good day folks. Off to the gym for morning exercise and cardio, then a long day of working online and optimizing =)

i've installed plugin but it is not working correctly. no data at all for any of the reporters.

Getting and Installing Gravity Insights on your forum
New and current vBSEO customers are eligible to signup for Gravity Insights free of charge. New vBSEO customers can get Gravity Insights by clicking 'Include Gravity Insights' when they purchase vBSEO.

Existing vBSEO customers can get Gravity Insights by going to the vBSEO downloads page.

Installing Gravity Insights is easy. Gravity Insights is a standard vBulletin plug-in. To install Gravity Insights you'll need to:

1. Download the .zip
2. Unzip the download and upload the /insights directory to your your vBulletin root folder.
3. Check your email for an account activation notice from insights@gravity.com
4. Activate Gravity Insights in your vBulletin admin panel
5. Access your account at Gravity Insights | Home
6. Note: Once Gravity Insights is installed, you can login and view real-time analytics immediately. Other reports can take up to 24 hours to process.

Full instructions are provided in the readme.txt file included with the download.

Any support issues with the product will need to be directed to Gravity as we do not have access nor the means to support their product. http://insights.gravity.com

Since disabling this mod in April, I have now blocked their whole ip range after finding 600+ hits a day from them on my forums.
They do not identify their user agent as being any kind of bot
Their user agent, the one which I know of is
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 Ubuntu/10.04 (lucid) Firefox/3.6.8
Ip range 74.123.148.0 - 74.123.151.255
Seems they like gathering data even from websites that dont use their product

At 12:00 AM Pacific time on April 28th, 2012, Gravity Insights will be permanently shut down and you will no longer be able to log in to the service to view your forum analytics.

Prior to shutdown, you should remove the Gravity Insights plugin from your website. You can find step-by-step instructions for uninstalling the plugin on our support site:

1. Login to Admin Control Panel (Admin link on Settingspage) 2. Scroll down to "Plugins and Products" and select"Manage Products"
3. Select "Uninstall" from the Controls dropdown for "Gravity Insights"
4. Verify that the "insights" directory is nolonger located in your web server's doc root

phpBB forums
1. Open a browser, locate your insights install_mod.xmlfile, and open it in your web browser (if you no longer have one, contact insights@gravity.com) 2. Using theinstallation guide, reverse all of the changes described posting.php,search.php, includes/functions.php, includes/ucp/ucp_register.php andstyles/<stylename>/template/overall_footer.html where <stylename>is your currently active style (i.e. 'prosilver').
3. Manually remove the "root/insights.php" and"root/insightsconfig.php" from your forum's web server.

Vanilla forums
1. Login as the Admin and click the "Dashboard"nav link 2. Under the "Addons" section click "Plugins"
3. Select "Disable" button for the"Gravity Insights" plugin 4. Manually remove the"GravityInsights" directory and contents from your forum's /pluginsfolder

Sounds like a cease and desist to me. Either internal turmoil or external entity not very happy. Blog seems upbeat, so I assume this wasn't expected.

As Gravity is going to be closed , there is no reason to keep this thread open
