About LinkBacksHello vBSEO customers and friends,
I am VERY excited to announce that we are having Brian Cummiskey officially join our team, effective today. After years of invaluable contributions to the vBSEO community, and more recently, a short absence from our site, it is my pleasure to welcome him back as an official vBSEO team member.
For those of you not familiarized with him, Brian has been consistently a TOP contributor to our community, providing on-target insight to thousands of new, and existing vBSEO customers on topics related to SEO, forum improvement, and overall community management.
I was planning on doing a formal announcement detailing his new roles and responsibilities, but the guy took over his chores quite seriously immediately after "closing the deal", getting to break the news for you all here!
In his intro, Brian described his own roles better than I could ever do so, therefore, I'll quote his own words to explain his responsibilities at vBSEO:
It will be my role here to maintain a sense of community, make sure the techs are getting to your tickets in a timely fashion, kill spam, offer general help where I can for basic/recurring issues that I'm aware of, offer suggestions/critiques on your sites in the review areas, and in general make vbseo.com your #1 forum to visit for everything relating to vbulletin forum optimization for SEO purposes and for tips and ideas on building/expanding your community's footprint on the web among all the rest.
Additionally, I will be a bit of a 'think tank' in this role, so if you have any ideas, thoughts, suggestions, improvements, or problems, please do not hesitate to contact me personally via PM. I can't guarantee I will respond to all of them (as I'm sure I will be influxed with messages), but do know that at the very least, I will read and consider everything that comes my way and brainstorm the better ideas with the rest of the staff.

Congratulations Brian, I really like your tips. In fact, I have applied some of them on my forums. At first, I always asked myself why weren't the vBSEO Team taking you in "for real", but I guess that just happened!
