    VB noob

    Hi everyone I just wanted to say hi and I'm greatful beyond belief that I found this company. I'm sure it's really going to help me out in the long run and I hope to learn a lot and be an active member in this community if my knowledge allows me to. I just bought VB 2 months ago and have a fitness forum the main page is www.epoc-fitness.com I then decided to add a forum which i did and it's been doing alright 102 people in a little over 2 months not that bad i think. I really wasn't expecting this much traffic. While I haven't fully installed VBseo hit a couple of road blocks, I hope to get it up and running later on today. I also just want to apologize in advance if i don't understand a lot of the post and ask for more explanitation on how to get stuff done.

    here is my forum without VBseo installed yet

    Thank you, do you know any program that will help my main site, EPOC FITNESS - Personal Training in Rhode Island I'm not even ranked, I've been using google adwords which i think is my best bet.
    It may be best to not listen to anything I say for advice. :spin:

    hey josh, what's up man. Glad to see you jumped on vbseo

    Your homepage is rather lacking, and in fact, the forums are rather hard to find from it. The link is only in the footer, not in the main nav.

    All of the tables and flash certainly don't help either. The flash on the image on the top right is fine... but i'd take your menu system and logo and such out of it. there's no need for it.

    let me know if you want some help.

    the first thing I seen was this, you don't have anything in your description tag

    Code:
    <meta name="description" content=" ">

    if you'd like a personal review, shoot me a PM

    Enjoy vBSEO

    When traffic is low on the boards it's best not to setup too many categories on your forums because it may give it an empty look. Best to start off with the most important topics and build your way up, of course it's your choice, just sharing some thoughts here

    When you have to build up a userbase it also helps to post some unique and interesting content and do that weekly or even daily if possible, that's what users keep coming back and start posting more.

    Good luck,
