Just wanted to be the first to introduce myself.
My name's Jonathan, I'm 28 years old, I live in Colorado. I admin a community for hot rod and custom car builders (link is in my sig). It's been around for about 6 years now.
I'm also working on a new site for hot rod website admins, at CrankshaftCoalition.com.
In my spare time (about 15 minutes per week), I like to hike, run, and learn about Linux, linguistics, cars, and assorted other nonsense. The intersection of SEO and semantics is really interesting to me, as are knowledge-sharing methods -- data mining, web spidering, RSS, wiki, etc. I'm far from an expert in any particular category, but I'm familiar with a decent range of web technologies, and I love to learn.
vBSEO has got me really excited, I can't remember the last time something like this has been released to the vB community. Properly SEO'ing vBulletin has been a major challenge for years. It's very cool to see Crawlability taking the reins and creating a viable, professional solution for everyone. Seems like forums have always been very content-rich, but haven't benefited from proper exposure. Online communities have been relegated to what's referred to as the "Deep Web" for too long now -- it's good to see that change.
I'll be helping out as a vBSEO Team Member, and moderating in the Analysis: Traffic & SERPS and SEO General Discussion forums. PM me anytime.
