Hi folks,

I just purchased vBSEO and a Pro installation last night for use on my Irish boating forums at www.powerboat.ie.

How long does an install usually take? I emailed them all the required info last night.

Hi Stuart - did your hosting company install Isapi Rewrite for you yet? That is required to complete your installation.

10 am here in Ireland and I've just had a reply from tech support in Blacknight.ie who are my hosting company.

Isapi rewrite is actually already installed on that server.

I should explain that I'm not a "techie" which is why I paid for installation !

Hi Joe,

I have emailed your guy to tell him that Isapi is already installed and that if he follows the log in procedure that I sent him that he has full access to do what he wants.

Could someone double check the installation?

One of the problems here is the time zone difference as my (very efficient and helpful) hosting company shut down at 1800 GMT and VBSEO don't hit their working day until some time later......

I'm caught in the middle as a "non techie" with each side saying it's up to the other !

If the second opinion at VBSEO doesn't solve it, might I suggest that I PM a contact email for Blacknight support to VBSEO who can then email them directly?

Yes - if staff is not able to complete install without help from your post, please provide us with the contact info in your ticket so that we can send them the instructions.

Hi Joe,

I have emailed Mert asking him to directly email a named contact at my hosting company telling them what he thinks they should be doing.

They seem to think that he already has the required access and that the required software has always been on our server !

If it was easy, every one would be doing it !
