Please give us an idea of what you'd like to know, and we can give you some tips.

Do you have a website already, or a domain purchased, or are you starting completely from the beginning?

    Thanks for fast reply Joe!

I already have solved the question of the domain and the website. But have some Q.
about your program and services. 1st one. If I create a forum, should I install vBSEO immediately or should I wait until I generate content?

It's always best to have vBSEO in place as early as possible. That way, the very first content you ever create will be optimized immediately.

Google (and the other SEs) will never get a chance to find the old .php pages, or any of the noisy/duplicate content that it allows.

If you decide to wait, that's a possibility as well. vBSEO includes an advanced (301 tool) which basically means we have a built in feature to let Google know where all the old content links are now located (i.e. from the old to the new SEO-ed versions).

The sitemap also immediately lets the major engines know that all the URLs have changed and require an update. The update process will begin, with some fluctuation in the beginning (mostly with your indexed page count).

So ideally, start with vBSEO on day 1. If you wait, vBSEO will still be able to handle the required update process.

There are many different ways to make money with a forum. However, if you have discussion forum for some topic, and do not have a particular product/service, or justification for premium membership, then ad revenue is this typical method people follow.

To be successful with ad revenue, you will need to build up a lot of traffic. Some success factors are picking a focused niche (topic), creating interesting and engaging original content, SEO (with vBSEO) and building links to your site, making a great looking site (so visitors who came will stay and participate), and learning how to optimize your ads for the best performance.

That's a very simplified version. A high revenue forum takes time to build. While some forums strike it rich, a large majority of forums operate to add extra income for their families while they spent time participating in an area they enjoy.

The end result for you will depend on your desire and commitment, and how well you do at each of the general steps listed above. First choice is your niche. Is it something that a lot of people are interested in, and is there something you can do that sets you apart from any of the forums that are already out there with a head start in your area of interest?

We have Q&A stuff throughout the forum. Unfortunately, there is no one master resource available right now.

However, our staff is completely at your disposal. We'll either direct you to the resource you want, or answer the question directly.

How else can we help you?
