Hey everyone, I'm Chris

I bought vBSEO the other day and now that it's all configured nicely I thought I'd come over and say hello

My site is TNT, a tech site. I made a thread in the critiques forum so if you have any comments please share them there

I first heard of vBSEO from Webmaster-Talk where I co-administrate (mostly on the technical side: creating plugins, modifying styles etc). With the extreme success on WMT, I thought it would be a good choice for my new forum.

So here I am

ian -- are you planning on getting vBSEO?

Yes, I was planning on giving it a try on computerforum, but wanted to make sure it would work on my current web host first. The other option would be to just buy it, see if it works, and if it doesnt work, change web hosts to one where it does work properly.

I'm still kinda surprised you're running PHP as CGI... Is there any particular reason?

I only ever hear of PHP running under FastCGI, and that's usually hosts that want to offer PHP4 (mod_php) alongside PHP5 (FastCGI).

I am not sure of the reasons, but I had checked a couple of other host reseller packages and they had a similar setup, so it is not all that uncommon.

Ah, I guess it's something to do with that then.

Well either way it should work
