Hello Neo, welcome to the forums! I have that URL licensed to someone else. You can however become a priority support member by having the license holder add your username to here http://www.vbseo.com/usercp/customer_profile/

Hello Neo, at this point in time, priority support is only setup for the ticket system.

    Thanks!

Any idea why I cannot access all the forums?

    Getting this error:

neounix, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
    1. You are not a registered vBSEO Owner, Buy vBSEO Now!
    2. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
    3. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I don't understand why we, a vBSEO license holder, cannot access some forums:

neounix, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Are you saying that vBSEO license holders cannot access all forums here?

This seems quite "user unfriendly" ... and makes me want to simply "not participate" here.

This vBSEO policy is really annoying.

We have a fairly big board and more than one admin. We own a vB licence.

Just because one person has their name on the license, should not handicap other admins here.

This is a very discouraging and user unfriendly policy.

Basically, your message here is very negative to license holders, trying for force it to only one person and not allowing the other admins of a large busy vB site to access certain forums.

    I find this offensive, sorry.

    Hi Neo,

We maintain customer only forums to ensure that we focus our support on customers, and prevent unauthorized/non-licensed users from accessing the info.

You are not assigned to the license for the forum you represent as the owner, so you are currently blocked.

However, you are now in our new user group for "Prioritized Support" which allows you to get access to our ticketing system.

This is a relatively new upgrade we completed. But I agree that anyone in this group should also get access to the customer private forums.

    I will check into this.

Well, I think you guys need to "lighten up".

We purchased vBSEO and have more than one admin.

I don't think that we should have to purchase another license just to read "Relevant Replacements" or "Custom Rewrite Rules".

At the moment, I'm really surprised about this and think you guys really need to be much more "user friendly".

    PS:

It is bad enough that we cannot even PM you guys. UNIX.COM is a much larger forum but we let folks PM us; and they don't pay. Here, we pay.

Then, when we reply to a PM, you guys send back annoying AUTOREPLY messages.

    Lighten Up, Please!

Neo - thank-you for the suggestions. As I said above, I agree with you, and we're looking at making the change.

Nobody said you had to purchase an additional license to access support, of course not.

Our PM auto-reply is very effective in helping users get faster support, and not relying on PMs. However, you do make another good point in that the auto-responder to "PM Replies" is certainly less effective, and less user friendly. We're using a 3rd party plugin, but we can probably modify it in this regard.

PS We also respond to PMs that are not handled first via the ticketing system, or another method, even after the auto reply is sent advising about faster support methods.

Still no access for this paying customer:

neounix, you do not have permission to access this page.
If you can't get it to work, just edit the database ...... PM me if you have any issues, otherwise, tell me what to do to for a customer to get access to the forums, OK?
