| Greetings all!
Hello all, I help run a small (ha!) overclocking site, which just happens to include forums. As such, you can visit it at http://www.aoaforums.com/ I'm not quite in a position to install vBSEO yet, as I want to ensure I understand what's going on before I attempt to install it. No, I'm no great expert on Regular expressions, hence my taking time to understand mod_rewrite before I jump too far! Any downtime on a forum has a deep and significant impact on the userbase, which is one of the lessons we learnt fairly early on. Moral of the story - If you need to take the forum down, do so for as short period of time as possible, when it's least busy! A |

Hello and welcome to the forums! I received your PM and added both of your URLs to the database, the live forums and the test installation. Once again, thank-you for the gesture. Juan

After a lot of bashing my head against a wall with access denied, I realised I'd not added an "Options FollowSymLinks" to my virtual hosting config on Apache. Not having that means that mod_rewrite won't rewrite the URLs, as it considers it to be similar to a SymLink.
