I'm new and I use twitter. Is there away you can point me to the life on twitter

Twitter is full of great info but at times reminds me of spam bots. A lot of people set their accounts on auto reply and never interact with other people. It's not that I really look for a social life on twitter but I'm a playful person by nature. I love to joke around in between the end of the world reports to help stay sane

Ray, you'll probably find your forum is a better spot to chat, IMO. Twitter is rather spammy now. There are some really important software guys who actually chat it up a little too much on there and bury the really good stuff that their fans/followers are interested in.

I think it will get better over time. For now, I think it's best to sit back and watch (such as search terms you like), and post occasional stuff for you followers that they should be really interested in.

I would recommend TweetDeck. It's a good desktop app that will help you organize the stuff you're following a little easier.

This actually is the concept of "retweets". It's basically the twitter version of digg. A bunch of retweets for "X tweet" means that whatever is being said has approval from a big sector of the community. The viral potential is huge.

We experienced with Tweetboard when it went up to the top trending topic on Twitter. Traffic was insane.

yes its great i guess to have a twitter account for promotion, other than that it over rated on tv and its some big thing now that stars of hollywood have to have a twitter account because its the in thing or something.

o/and who are the stars twitter accounts? who knows as theres to many fake eg: britney spears. no one know who the heck anyone is for real, come on its over rated.

again, twitter is ok for promotion of your site as im sure 80% here have a twitter account for that reason and im guessing basically you cant be stuffed twittering so you use the vb org twitter hack to do that for you.
