Question Who are you voting for tomorrow?

Well elections don't happen often, and it's something that I am personally pretty interested in. So, who do you think you will vote for? Who do you want to see win in other races? Who do you want to see lose?

I think I will vote against Hillary, even though I am a registered Democrat. I wish I could vote against Republican Peter King in Nassau Country, but I don't live there. I'll also vote for Spitzer (D) for New York Governor.

I'm really interested in the following races:

Maryland
Virginia
Montana

Those are really important ones to me as I really don't like some of the candidates in those elections.

I tend to vote more towards the Republican side of things.

That's a pretty surprising comment from someone from Turkey. Don't Europeans and Turks hate Bush?

I don't hate Bush but i find his political decisions stupid as hell Yep there are tons of people who hate US but i don't because i know americans as i longed pretty long in MD It is funny as hell 10 years ago Turkish people loved America and they admired America a lot ( at least 50% ) , but now they hate because America is trying to get involving in countries own things. Like Us is supporting Kurts in Iraq and Kurts are always preparing terrorist attacks on Turkey so innosent people dies. On the otherhand you can see Bush on Tv's talking about their war on Terrorism This used to work in old days because there were limited information all around people could reach. Now everyone can reach any information from internet and this stupid tactics. However world needs a strong country which can really defend innocent people. So with better political decisions US can turn to be good place for Europeans and Turks because noone has any special reason to hate from America

While I don't agree with you about the Kurds, as I sympathize with them and that they were a people whose nation or society has apparently been conuered by several different states (Iran, Iraq and Turkey) in a way similar to how the Poles were conquered by Germany, Russia and the Hapsburg Empires, I do like how you seem to be pretty balanced in your opinions and not just irrationally anti-American.

Neo-conservatism and the war on terror are a bit of a sham. What really lies at the root of American foreign policy is the same thing that has lied at the heart of all nation's foreign policies throughout world history: national self-interest.

Sometimes our principles such as the War on Terror (toppling the Taliban with Pakistan's support) conflict with some of our other principles like Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (i.e. Pakistan and its nuclear tests). In that case, the US will choose between whichever principle is most essential to US interests. Same goes for this possible conflict with Turkey.

With regards to what you call Kurdish terrorsm from Iraq on Turkey, what would you have the US do? You say we "support" them. How so?

Well the Dems got the House.

The Dems have to win all the remaining hot races in the Senate (Montana, Virginia, Missouri) in order to win the Senate.
