Whats with the non-clickable Category Links?

If I am looking at Forumhome here (on vbseo.com), all of the categories have links like http://www.vbseo.com/#Community .

I can't seem to click these in Firefox.

They work for me in IE... They are just anchor links that jump that section to the top of the page though.

Oh, yeah.. I can click them...they just don't go to the Category in question.

It works for me fine in Firefox.. they jump down to the correct category in the page.

I actually like that idea

It is probably 'Working as Designed' .. I miss the default vB action of taking me to the Forumdisplay for that Category, showing the sub-forums on their own, rather than all categories/forums.

Yeah, this method definately wouldn't work well on my site. I have too many forums.... So I have a dropdown to let users select certain sections instead of getting the whole long list.

How was this done btw?

At a guess - a template modification in forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost.

Yep, a template modification and links (to the respective anchors) in categories via the vbcp

However, it will be a built-in feature in vBSEO 2.4.1 as it might have an SEO impact for some forums

Interesting. Still deciding if it's best to go via this route with my site.
