vbulletin blog

So whats the deal, will vbBlog work out of the box with vbSEO, or do we have to wait? Thats whats preventing me from purchasing it at the moment.

And what should we look out for if it doesnt work? member names SEO'd?

Yes it will.

Although to a lesser extent, the vBulletin Blog DOES have link consensus issues similar to those present in vB. At the moment we are sorting these out while also rewriting URLs.

Think about your members before purchasing,. They will not like this product.
I'm using WordPress Mu actually. I sent the vbulltin.com blogs url to some bloggers and they all replied: Never!!

I think I will wait for 1.3 before purchasing

MAybe even version 2 they way it will probably go lol

I think there just make it a 3.0.1 so ppl have to repay. I doubt there give it away for free, unless someone else makes it.. which wouldn't be to hard.

You mean that I'll have to pay for another vbseo other then 3.0.0?

SEO'd vBulletin Blog url's will be avaible for vBSEO 3.0.1 version. The new version includes couple more features and no you don't have to pay for another vBSEO 3.0.0. If your license is active you can download all versions. If your license is not valid anymore you need to renew your license. Renewal fee is 35$.

it isnt wrong information, depends how you read it. Obviously the guy didnt know you can renew your lisence.

I can't wait for the vbulletin blogs to have css styles that users can set

I already Renewed my licence... I've been with vbseo for almost two years!

thank you for your work.
Looks god, so far. I Agree that the, Blog Add-on could not replace a real Blog. But for my site it will do well. I have a site about Brazil an there are a lot Users don’t like to write a Travel Stroy in the Forum because they don’t like to read stupid comments. The integrations of the Blog Add on might help a lot to get interesting Travel Story’s.
I have to wait for the final German Version anyway.
So I will update VBSEO after the update to the German Version.
