vbseo 3.5 update thread?

Hey vbseo,

Just wondering if we could get an update/progress update/info etc. about the vbseo 3.5 update.

How is it coming along, what new things can we expect, etc. Just to keep us in the loop would be nice.

Last bit of info on this update I heard was back quite some time ago. when I originally heard it should be out in December 07 (but certain things held that back, eg. vb 3.7 etc.) Then we heard with the 3.7 release that development has been started and it should be out at the end of this year, but getting some info on how things are coming along is always nice.

I will post all the info in this thread for other members that has been posted around the forums to help other members have an idea of what they can expect with this 3.5 update, but it would be nice to hear some newer info.

Vbseo 2.0 skin update was stated it would be released 1-2 weeks after vbseo 3.2 went gold months ago, has it been released yet? VBSEO.com 2.0 Style?

We are currently creating a URL rewrite interface (very similar to vBSEO's URL rewrite options) that will allow you to select URL patterns for vBSEO extension products: Downloads II, Photoplog, Photopost Pro, etc.

- Can someone link me to the English version if it is available. I find this strange that I never seen this in the English forums. This is something I have waited for so long.
- there was much new info in that post. eg. vbseo lite for vbulletin seemed interesting. Is that a partnership?


That is all the info I can find. If you find any more, please post it below, and of course, I would love vbseo to keep this thread updated with the latest stuff that is happening.

- I wouldnt mind to find out what is happening with the cms seo portals that was mentioned years ago, when vbseo said it would in the near future start seoing certain cms portals (something which got me excited at the time)

to the best of my knowlege, there is no such thing as vbseo lite. it was a rumor, not a product.

I think we all did, until you read the official post from a Crawlability total support team member here ÎÑíØÉ ØÑíÞ vBSEO and translate it to English and find out something along the lines of Vbseo coding a lite version for vbulletin.

Official word to the rest of the forum would be nice tho. Along with everything else in the 1st post.

Absolutely, plus 3.8 would probably be out before the end of this year or early 09 which is the flex eta of vbseo 3.5 (as vb 3.8 is in alpha on vb.com now)
My only concern now is, will vbseo 3.5.0 be held back once again like it was with the release of 3.7 to bring vbseo 3.3.0 or will vbseo 3.5.0 proceed with the release of vb 3.8?

Well vb 3.8 just brought out there beta today. Any news if 3.5 will be coming along soon with 3.8 or will it be held off til next year :/

Both vB Blog 2.0 and vBulletin 3.8 have some new rewrite options. We are currently working on them and release a pre release version soon. It will not interfere with 3.5 development.
