My oh my have any of you guys ever had problems installing vbadvanced. The support team over here was trying to help me out but to no avail. I cant seem to get much help on the vbadvanced forums and my page has been loading nothing for more then 8 hours now :( . I followed all the directions i was supposed to and am getting no errors what so ever. This is my latest post at vbadvanced support forums but they ignored my last support request for over 8 hours now...

I am here at work and would love to fix it before I get home so all help would be wonderful. Let me know if you have any further questions about my problem or if you have had a similar issue and what you did to get it up and running again.

Hi James,

I am getting a white page at your homepage... this happened to me when I upgraded a site to 3.6 the other day.

Have you disabled all your plugins? Can you get into the AdminCP?

I had a plugin that was in global_start that appended the css URL with the full forum URL. Removing it solved the issue.

Also.. your screenshots seem to be telling me that your Phrases aren't installed correctly.

Try re-running /admincp/vba_install.php again, choosing to Upgrade.

Not modules.. plugins.

I would only uninstall if you have made no changes to the default vBadvanced stuff (modules etc), as uninstalling will most likely wipe these.

Tried re-uploading the vBA files?

They may have been corrupt.

ok here goes i over wrote all of the files and ran the install for upgrading styles / strings. it is no longer displaying the vba in astrixs in my admin panel. Now if only i could get it so it will load up on the front page since that is still loading blank. But we are making progress. All help is welcomed.

All the templates are there :(. I really have no idea what is going on. The only thing I am starting to think is my page file vbacmps > edit pages is set up as a modual instead of a php file. When i go to change it to php it wants the path to the php document which you would think is index.php since that is where my cmps file is located which is also loading blank :(. Maybe this had something to do with it?
