Which url you think will be best?

Hi - Im trying to set up a community for yamaha enthusiasts and i'm not sure what domain name to choose and go with any comments are much appreciated: yamahaforum.net, yamahaboards.com or yamahafanatics.com

As i already mentioned i always prefer .com extension domains as it is the first domain which users will try.

yamahaboards.com looks best imo

If you go with the one with forum or board in its name then you should upload your forums to the root IMO otherwise it is kind of redundant having the name forum twice in your url. so if you were planning on having a homepage then go with something else.

There are many more domains you could go with here are just a few I quickly came up with, i'm sure if you put your mind to it you could come up with some other great names too.

YAMAHASITE.COM

Good luck. ps, be quick tho, coz if someone sees this and it sparks interest in them, they may snatch up the domain before you buy it.

That's a good point, I'm actually planning on having a home page, I'm not sure if www.yamahaboards.com/forum will looks odd or even people pay attention the url once they are browsing a site. my second choice will be the fanatics one.

I just received an email that i acquired YamahaForum.com, it expired
So I guess that's a better name of all and I just requested to transfer my licence so I can start moving the forum to the .com
