    Starting New forum

    Hello,

I'm want to start a new forum.
I'm also have a good running forum with VB 3.8 + VBSEO.
With the history from Internet Brands from the last years, i'm also looking to other forum software. You know what i mean. (XF)

In my eyes the lasted VB is bloated with allot of things. But there is VBSEO to optimise it.
On the other hand there is the new forum software (XF) with new optimized code.
But so far basic, and not to many add-on's.

I want to make a good start, and not switch after a few months or years.

I'm also looking to the costs. VB + VBSEO is more expensive, but if the forum is running good and i can earn it back it's ok.

I need a few good arguments to go with VB + VBSEO or XF.
So tell me why you prefer that software.

I don't want a VB vs XF thread, i need arguments.
Why did you go with that software. Or why should you choose that software.

    Thanks!

XF is unproven, currently in a huge lawsuit with little cash flow, and may not even exist next year, on top of it's learning curve for you
vb/vbseo isn't going anywhere, with proven results and familiar software to you to make tasks easier.

    I agree with that.

vbseo isn't going anywhere, but vB ? They sold it 3 times in 3 Years...
Ok, the company's are always huge investors.

    I think about it...
First integrate the CDN on my other forum and then i decide.

    Thanks Brian

Sold it or it was bought? They're are two very different things, people sell up if things are going down hill, large companies make offers for businesses they can take to the next level
