what are you going to be putting that money towards?

Im paying a SEO specialist to fix my site up, link building, etc... I dont really know much about SEO or coding. Just want to get top page on google with select keywords.
Could you get a summary of the services that will be provided on a monthly basis and post them here?
98.6456465% of these "specialists" are a joke. I've ranted a few times in here about them.
This is basically what I received. Any suggestions?

Well - I suppose it depends on the quality of their service. vBSEO is already doing most of the work for you. Linkbuilding is still very important. With that budget, however, you could probably make some serious impact on your own with paid directory listings and paid text links, etc.
So basically I should use my money elsewhere? Ive been reading about how to optimize vbulletin and vbseo by adding h1 and stuff. Unfortunately I have no clue what they mean and how to fix the coding. I read the article by T2DMAN by could not manage to do it on my own. Would you know any service that can provide this?
Also, how effective are paid directories?
Actually, T2DMan does consulting work. You should consider contacting him first.
Also, if you have specific questions on how to make changes, usually someone here on our forums will help you out. This is only if you have interest in doing so. Otherwise, it will be far more cost-effective to simply have an expert complete the revisions for you.
Directories are certainly one way of getting linkbacks to your site. You could focus on some of the free ones to start. As far as link exchanging with other sites, you can manage that on your own by finding relevant sites via Google & communicating with them directly.
Thanks Joe, I looked into TD2MAN's service but his costs $490 for 7 hours while I can pay $900 for 3 months. At this moment I don't find either service economical. Is there a manual for 3.6 optimization?
If not I will work with T2DMAN's article and probably post 100 questions. Thank you
I am not familiar with the company you are working with. However, I do know that the work done in Michael's 7-hours is quite extension. My guess is that his services might be better value for you.
However, you are correct. His suggested optimizations are available on his site. So, if you spend some time you will be able to figure them out or get help with them.
Can I post my questions regarding his article on this thread? I
You can certainly ask general questions about how to modify templates, etc. Note: This is not a part of vBSEO's included support.
- new feature of Display Simple View of Threads Yes/No
- Set this to "No" and have the threads accessed directly from the site map.
- set the archive threads per page to 70 (Google recommends max 100 links per page, so that is 70+ navigation and pagination links)
Where can I access these options? Is this part of vbseo? Or vbulletin?
For $300/year you got a link on Yahoo directory. I don't understand why you need to pay so mutch every month? Buy some quality ad or directory links and vbseo does the rest. The other template changes and site SEO you can do yourself.
