    Redirecting domain

    Hi all,

    I have www.******.com domain name.

I looked at same as my domain www.****** . but net, edu, gov are available. If I register those and redirect my original com domain.

Does this effect my forum seo or visitor rates?

.com is always the best domain to have.

registering an /edu and .gov is nearly impossible for normal people (requirements exist).

.net would be nice to have and park on the .com, but i wouldn't change from the .com
