Looks like its another Page Rank update day.

Mines just gone from 2 to 3. Nothing special so far.

Mine dropped from 3 to 2.I don't sell links so it doesn't really matter.

My board went from PR1 to PR3.

And many of my internal forums have went from PR0 to PR2.

Mine's still zero ( Male Sopranos & Altos ). I guess I need more back links :P

PageRank : Increased from 4 to 5.

Traffic : Remains almost same as that in August. Only a slight 4-8% increase.

I received a 2 on a blog site that has been around for about a month.

Looks like my forum is remaining a PR3 and didn't drop. (knock's on wood)

I notice some big changes in my forum today.

I have a PR3 from a long time at my domain.
My forum home (/forum/) is PR2 and I notice that some of my categories (f1, f2, ...) have now PR1 and PR2.

But my greatest discover is that I have some threads that came from no PR0 to PR4

I'm finding lot of PR2 and PR3 threads on my forum ... but I don't know if I have them before vBSeo . I only notice that today.

I think this is good.

vBSEO gives threads a far more significant chance of getting PR than possible without it.

I took some of spit Brians spit advice

Something Brian mentioned on here about if you get enough interest in a subject, open a new forum for it.

I did just that and a month old section just came in at pr3

You got to hate Brian, his advice is never wrong

Top bloke by every account

one dropped from 5 to 4 again
and a 2 on a brand new blog, and 1 on the forum

hehe I AM wrong all the time. That's how I got to where I am today... by trial and error of what works and what doesn't. I've been in the business of forums since 2000, so i've got some miles under me. All I'm doing is helping you all from making the same mistakes I did.

I almost sold my forum for $3k in 2004. I was tired of making $20 a month off it.
And again in 2006 for $9k.


Today, I would be hard pressed to even talk about any offers below $75k.

Glad i stuck with it.

We all learn every day. Even me. That's why i come here all the time. I learn from others too.
