    Hi George,

For reasons known only to themselves, All Enthusiast have chosen to make finding the link to Photopost vBGallery ... less than straightforward.

From memory, it is a sticky thread in the vBGallery support forum there.

The differences are fairly minimal... vBGallery integrates more tightly with vB than Photopost PHP Pro.

I went through the same issue when I finally gave up and purchased the pro version. My guess is that was their purpose.

They will still be separate but you can no longer just buy vbgallery. You can get access to vbgallery only by buying photopost.

Correct. It is now called a "PhotoPost Merged License" and it allows the customer to run either PhotoPost PHP Pro or PhotoPost vBGallery (not both at the same time). Some people love it because now then can try out both packages on their site before deciding which one to go with and existing users can try out the other package to decide if it's worth converting over but.... there is always a but... it means that new customers will now be paying the same amount for a license whether they go with PP Pro or PP vBGallery whereas in the PP vBGallery was a lower priced alternative.

I have both that I use on a couple of sites, but prefer the more integrated (former) vBadvanced Gallery.

vBulletin 3.7 will have User Galleries, so I'm wondering how long it will be before they migrate that into a full-fledged gallery? Or maybe it already will be? It will be interesting to see how it turns out.

I believe you can create multiple categories for user gallery in vbulletin. Anyway we all can check it out pretty soon

    vbulletin.com gives :
Sorry, we've had to close the forums temporarily while we upgrade to 3.7

    Check back later to see.
