    Was looking for some paid newserver access.
    Where do you guys get news feeds on forums from. Ok msn is theere but specialized feeds eg alt.cars etc?

    By the way is having newsgroups on forums legal anyway specially when newserver is not a public one?
    Was looking at giganews. any suggestions?

    And Acers...as much as I hate saying this, this isn't something I'd like to discuss in public...

    The reason is because the more we see other webmasters syndicating ng, the more duplicated content penality you'll face.

    actually thats the reason i didn't ask it on vb.org.(in case someone got the hint )

    Anyway the usual mstech ones are anyway totally saturated. Forget paid groups... what i am worried about is that are we allowed to have it on forums even. I have seen 3-4 incidents of notices going to hosts for privacy violation and all.

    No body owns usenet, you're pretty much acting like all nntp providers (ie. archiving ng). I personally got several requests to remove some offending posts (always honored them), but nothing to worry about really (ie. no copyright issues).

    The only real problem with the whole concept is the duplicated content issue. As more webmasters are archiving the same ng, the risk of being penalised increase. And that's not really something I'd like to see anytime soon!
