Odd indexing results for the last few weeks?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced very slow, or none existent searchable results on google recently?

It seems like the last 3-4 weeks, some articles have been indexed and appear in the results, but some of the most important articles/threads that we need to be on google, just arent getting through.

Today, a few more appeared, but they are now a few weeks old and we've missed all the good traffic :(

The articles in question are, I think content rich and they have always been high ranking up until recently.

Someone mentioned this cable cut earlier, but I can't see that being the issue.

What about us being penalized? How can we find out for sure if we have, and more importantly, how can we fix whatever we've been penalized for?

Anyone any ideas please?

No, I have reposted it with less keywords in the title, but it's still not being picked up in the searchable results. It is definitely in the site map.

I just can't understand it at all :(

Here is the thread - all I can think of is that google bot has become a double entendre bot and is somehow mistaking my content for porn? (Which it's not).

One of the reasons that I reposted it was that I had merged two threads originally and I thought that might have been the problem?

I'm really just clutching at straws now, for want of a better saying

P.S. I should point out that other stuff has been indexed without problems and quite quickly.

Even odder - the new thread has arrived as searchable results on Google today, so around one week from being crawled. The original thread still hasn't arrived as searchable results after several weeks.

Still none the wiser.
