NoRefback and Yahoo vs. Google

Google has fair remained king on all of my other sites, but my most recent has 7 times the number of hits from Yahoo. I have virtually no Google traffic to boot.

The internet is strange sometimes.

Regarding the Refback vs. Pingback, if I put NoFollow on the URLs that are contained in my website, does this cause Google to omit the URL from the spyder scan, or does this simply keep the spyder on my website? I currently am not using the tags, but I'm thinking it might help since the site has a ton of outbound links relative to content.

I would suggest leaving all *back's moderated for your own information only.

nofollow doesn't stop anything from happening other than the 3rd party site won't get page rank passed to it from the link. the bots will still 'follow' it.q
