I have my forum set up so that it grabs news from my blog into a forum section. My forums are more active then my blog, so this allows people to comment on stories. The posts have a link at the bottom to the original story, but it's a no-follow link. Here is the trouble. Even though the blog will post well before it hits the forum, Google will rank the forum above the blog. On the rare occasion, G gets it right.
So my question is, what's the work around? The section makes sense, since it's allows for members to talk about the news. I guess the good news is that I'm ranking. If I turn off the news posting, I'm afraid the blog won't rank.
Thoughts?
