    Need some redirect help

I wasn an unfortunate victim of a company, errr individual, stopped supporting a script. I deleted the script and would like to redirect all of the URLs related to the script.

The scripts format is as follows:
    vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=2244

I would like to redirect all requests for vbclassified.php, including the variables that may come after this, to index.php.

    Thanks for any input!

He has promised to start supporting the script again and developing a new version.

There are alternatives, which Im still looking into and following their progress with announcements about being VB4 compatible.

Dont do anything rash yet with the classifieds

Bit of a de ja vous on this classifieds add on.

What do you do when you pay for a premium add-on and the developer goes AWOL? - vBulletin.org Forum

The original poster there, is the same person who took over development and ownership of the script

I already deleted it. I will not be using it again because it needs major improvement from both a design and functional standpoint.

I would like to redirect all of the links that are in search engines. I'd prefer to do this through htaccess but if I can do this through vbseo 404 options, then can someone point me in the right direction?

Right now, my setting for this option, "File Not Found" requests handling?, is redirect to homepage, but I would like to redirect them to a specific forum.

You should direct to the true rewritten url like:
    Code:
     '^vbclassified\.php' => 'f162/'
and note, the = should be =>
    sorry about the typo

What was the outcome on this.
I need to redirect all http://www.thespainforum.com/classifeds/index.html to the new classifieds that Im still a day or so from finishing http://www.thespainforum.com/classifieds/index.php again another dissatisfied customer of vbclassifieds.
The present classifieds are pr3, which makes it even more frustrating.

    Thanks for any help guys
