One last question...I have vBa CMPS on the root, and the forums at /4ums/

Would it be better to have the CMPS at the index.php and have the forums in the same dir but as forums.php ??

I think this is a good program but I'm worried that the CMPS will mess it all up..

It will work as well with the setup you mention, everything in root, and the forums index page as forums.php, no problems whatsoever

Thanks, But will it work better with the forums and CMPS in the same dir or will it work the same having the forums in its own dir?

Reason I'm asking is cause of a reply you made on 10/04/2005

Q: why are you changing the forum location? It will make your content appear 'deeper' within your site structure. You can always rename the forum page via the vBulletin admincp to something like 'forums.php'. vBSEO picks that value from your settings and forces it as your forum homepage. You can then name your vBadvanced homepage 'index.php'
Ref : Ok, something weird is going on ...

Oh.. exactly, I was asking Michael why he would install vB in /forums if he had already installed it in root.

It works fine in both, root and (deeper) /forum installations
