Moving to VPS SQL database help please!

I'm moving from a shared hosting plan to a VPS plan from another company. I manually transfered all my files via FTP. I've been doing my SQL dump and saving with no compression both in a word document and a plain RTF text file when I try to import them I get the following errors messages. The error message that is short is from the RTF the word doc error is the longer one and the pref I am using to do the dump I also included. I've been trying to fix this since Friday night but haven't got passed this step this is the third day my site it down please help.

    SQL dump Prefs

    RTF import Error

    Word Doc inport error

    Josh,

Do both hosts use cPanel? You can easily transfer everything across at the server level.

Regarding the Word error.. I'm not 100% certain. but it is likely to have something to do with the way Word formats things.

No the other didn't have cpanel i wish it did. Well finally got through with my hosting company we had to destroy the old server and rebuild it with an older version of mysq. I also got BBEdit for mac which is a regular file editing program and copied the Databases that wa and uploaded them to the root folder of my server. From my understanding from what they told me they have to have their engineering dept go through and recreative the structure so it reads the correct way in cpanel. Wow this is a lot of work in changing hosts.

I will have some questions later regarding how to get vbseo working correctly again after I get these databases up.
