Mod Request: Link Verfication For Signatures

ok, wondering if one of the coding gurus could look at this idea for an upcomming mod or addon for vbseo.
Instead of signatures that allow for users to post there websites, why not add a couple of columns in the user table, which stores the users websites.
So say suppose a user wants to add a site, to the signature, he would go to signatures and intead of finding a big textfield he would see these textfields.

Title Site 1 || Email || Status || Site Url
Vbseo || [info@vbseo.com] ||[verfied] || www.vbseo.com

Title Site 2...etc

The status field would have two options, verfied and unverfied. For a user to add an website, he must signup with the corressponding email for the site. He will then recieve an email to verfy, and if veried a link would be added. So it would look like this. 2 advantages with this, people will have to prove they own the site (less spam...etc) and adds trust to the overall forum.

Also, the number of sites in the signature can be dependent on the users usergroup, so members in higher user group would be able to add more sites.
