Hi,

Do you mean mod staff?
Yes ... How do forum admins choose they Moderators?
I chose popular/active members who are on the site a LOT and are level headed. I get 10 people a week PM'ing me asking me to be a mod. I kindly turn them away.
I think anyone ASKING to be a mod doesn't deserve to be one. PROVE yourself on the forums, and we'll tap you.
That's a good point Brian.
I think Mods do change a lot, isn't it?
What make them stay for a long time?
i have a few mods that have left, but most are still around. eventually, people get tierd of it, move on in life, etc etc. And that creates oppertunity for the next one to step up.
Do you have any personal relationship wih them?
Do you let them give up or you remove them for inactivity?

So, when do you feel the need to invite a Mod?
What do they won as a Mod or what should we give then in return?
i invite mods when i feel the current staff isn't doing a quick enough job keeping spam, etc at bay.
i try to have a mod in each time zone.
Thanks Brian! You have been a very helpfull friend.
Should we compensate them or do you thing they feal good for the "position" they have?
I do not compensate them, but they do get extra stuff, like more gallery space, more pm space, and when we have stickers/tshirts etc, they get free ones.
