How to?

I am a new user of VB, I want to do these thing with my forum,
1 How can i place recent threads and Most Active Topics in the Past 24 Hours under navbar, I already have placed google ad at left side and want to fill blank space at right side.

2 I want to enable Similar Threads feature in forums. i have enabled form admin cp>vb options> display thread options. but still there it is not showing Similar Threads in forum.
3 I want to place google ads above quick reply, How to do it
4 How i can creat a collum at lift side, want to add some link and ads there.
