Help: How do I redirect my home page to my forum

Hi,

How do I redirect my homepage to the forum ?

For example:

Currently my domain name points to index.html in the root directory
i.e. www.mydomain.com ====> www.mydomain.com/index.html

how can I force it go to www.mydomain.com/forums/

I assume I can do this with a .htaccess file but I don't know how

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Ben,

create .htaccess file in the domain root folder:

RewriteEngine on
RewriteRule ^$ http://www.mydomain.com/forums/ [L,R=301]
