BTW, does anything think and agree vbseo is delaying the release of the Gold version a bit too long? I don't see many or if any license holder complaining here whilst vbulletin adminstrators fussing over a delay of an upcoming release. Maybe it has to do with the amount of vbulletin license holder compared to a tiny fraction for vbseo. Plus vBulletin happens to release their promised version in a reasonable time. Why is vbseo keeping us on hanging?

But anywho, anyone with vbseo license that is about to expire (one year renewal term)?

Why "just release it" when there are known bugs? Is having the number 3.0 really that important?

The problem is "we have no idea" about the development.
Somebody from the team can inform us about the status.

I don't think that the # or RC status of release important, the important thing is having a stable and bug-free release.

I presume that the vbseo developers are working on the program as a part-time but shouldn't the developers and the managers of the company be responsible and more favorable to their clients by putting effort into their product line?

More than a full quarter have passed since the announcement of the 3.0 beta. vBulletin gold was released a good three months ago even when their 3.6.0 announcement was released about the same time as vbseo 3.0beta.

I don't know whether vBulletin have a substantial number of coders and developers working on the releases (I think there are two main players) and vBSEO have only a few.
I understand that in order for the product to go gold, the product merits the gold release only if all known and submitted bugs are fixed. But that's all I know about software development and nothing about project management for this industry.


The reason I want gold to be released in a good timely fashion is the vBSEO skin. If vBSEO lets their customers download their skin before rather than at the same time of the gold release, I'd be a happy camper.

vBSEO employees are all full-time.

The release is being finalized.

i am more interested in the skin,RCx is running flawlessly for me(& everyone else)

The skin isn't flawless. Have you submitted a support ticket lately? The smilie box breaks the tables. It may also be happening someplace else, I don't know. I don't use every function or feature of the site.
