Country specific searches are making a difference :

Yeh I checked about a 1/2 hour ago and it wasn't there - seems to be back now. I did a site: search and there were no serps for these sites (and it obviously isn't just me). Wonder if it's noticeably affecting traffic?

.com search is good, GB search is non existent.

Might have to try inputting into GB based search engines, google version etc

Think I did my last search input about November

Not happy

Hopefully things come back, because this is the worst time possible. I lost a month of my database a few days ago due to the backup system failing and other incidents so I need google to bring me more members lol.

You have some serious bad luck dude. Is that due to another attack?

yeah due to another php shell. This time a subdomain I had given out became phished (long story on that part) from the other user and then the hacker uploaded a php shell and was able to then see the rest of the sites files, config etc. get database access and do massive damage that was undoable and with my backup system not working for the last month because it was timing out unknowning I lost quite a bit. I sure do have bad luck lol.

anyway, hopefully google picks things up soon because my traffic is down by half compared to last year.

Matt , in order to protect yourself more , you should move config.php to /etc folder where only root can access. If you need asistance on that shoot me a message on Msn

Two scenarios

What would happen if

You go country specific with google, would you show up on both lots of results. In this case GB and com

You submit to every version of google search. Would you get a slapped wrist or risk being dropped from google altogether.
