Question Google and Site Description

Does anyone know how to get google to read my site description and not all that notices stuff that comes up:

ie. right now on Google my site reads: Notices. "Welcome to the Lounge Board forums. You are currently viewing our boards as a guest which gives you limited access to view most discussions and ..."

I'd rather have my forum description show up. Any Ideas.

Thanks.

Ok, so I didnt want to go this route as i've removed the Welcome Messages altogether. I also tried to put the Meta Description Directly into HEADINCLUDE template, but the search still keeps reading some other text instead....before it was the notices, now its my SUBSCRIPTION text.......can anyone else give me some advice.....this is really racking my brain...lol

Did you use Relevant Replacements ? If not you should use them and keep them above all other useless text such as welcome message , subscription notice.

I have RR used in each of my threads, similar to here, but nothing on my ForumHome and ForumDisplay...there are a few sites ive seen with no RR on top of their "please register text" and yet they seem to have their descriptions read first......im googling away here tyring to find an answer that fits...lol

In VBSEO Settings:

Replace the 'META DESCRIPTION' Content?
This option replaces the 'META DESCRIPTION' content with the first words of the first posting in the page to a limit defined in the option below.
This section, does it also affect the forum homepage?

Hopefully you put the text you want to appear in the search engines up there.

That should get you all fixed up
