Google index of forum pages, strange?

I type: site:forum.dutchbodybuilding.com

so I get: Results 1 - 10 of circa 9.430 from forum.dutchbodybuilding.com for . (0,04 seconden)

So great 9430 pages!

But when I navigate the pages to the end it goes to only:

Results 911 - 920 of circa 9.360 from forum.dutchbodybuilding.com for . (0,25 seconden)

920???

And 927 when i choose to show the ommited results.

So how does this work, why is it showing more pages if they arent in the index?

I'll see what it does for me and get back,.
I actually get 928 pages, and when I tried to enter in 9000 manually I got an error:

Sorry, Google does not serve more than 1000 results for any query. (You asked for results starting from 9000.)

So- by the way it sounds, Google does index those pages all 9,360 of them- but they can't show or won't show them in any one query. So, doing a search for your site will show the amount of pages indexed... just not all the pages.

You are right, didn't know that,

and no option anywhere to show all pages?

Google doesn't allow to get more than 1,000 results per query.
