    Getting Rid of the Ugliness

I've tried in a few different places (different forums, etc) to get help on fixing the ugliness of Technology Questions: Tablet PC, UMPC, and Mobile PCs ... After installing vbadvanced, the site design just doesn't site well.

Is anyone interested in helping design this site so that it is attractive?

    Organic Traffic: 7-11k / day
    New members: 5-10 / day

However, I am not getting good discussions going in certain parts of the forum and believe the potential of the forum is not being met.

Please pm if you are interested in helping.

Just my first impression, I found it very hard to find the forum from the homepage. You might be better off having a forum button in the header or linking to all the forums somewhere.

I gave up on vbadvanced last night and removed it. The post was a request for help in the design - but instead I think the product just distracts from the forums - which is the purpose of the site. I gave up and the index is now just the forum index.

Thank you both for the post.

:werd: vbadvanced is lame IMO. it adds nothing, really. just makes more things harder to find.

to fix the ugliness of your forums... you need to get rid of all those subforums on the homepage. I think there's an option to display out another level, so that the row1 class or whatever it is doesn't get applied to the 'row2' sub forum elements.
