Do not let the robots in - ZB Block - any1 use this script?

This php security script is designed to detect certain behaviors detrimental to websites, or known bad addresses attempting to access your site. It then will send the bad robot (usually) or hacker an authentic 403 FORBIDDEN page with a description of what the problem was. If the attacker persists, then they will be served up a permanently reccurring 503 OVERLOAD message with a 24 hour timeout

I am not a coder, so I am not sure how good this script works as it is designed
or supposed to keep bad spiders out. One coder said it did not work that good, but
the one promoting the script says it works fine.

May some of you coder experts can rip through their script and see how
good the script really is at keeping bad bots off your site.

such a failure. I think he has some amount of false pozitives. And every php used to block will cost you some amount cpu used. You can not block ddos by software solutions. You maybe little bit at some level then it'll be useless. You need external resources cpus to block the processes.

If you want to use your resources with maximum then i would recommend you to use Cloudflare system. They block spiders. And their resources used to block treats. And you can read more at my final blog post.
