Professional vBulletin SEO Services - Support - Setup
Hello, my name is Brandon Sheley, owner of vBulletinSetup.com
I’ve been offering Professional vBulletin Services since June of 2006 and had been running forums for a couple years before that. I made this site to offer free vBulletin help in the forums and a place to consolidate all the wonderful info on the web about vBulletin. I suggest you check out our SEO and our vBulletin Questions categories before going any further. I’ll list off what I can offer later in this post, but if I can’t do it, I know someone that is reliable and trustworthy, that can.
Within 10 days of buying this domain, we were able to get the top position on Google for 1 of our keywords.
In our first 4 months, we hit 30,000’s in Alexa.
Along with on-site SEO, you must also do off-site SEO. This involves building relevant back-links to your site. Check out our latest accomplishment “vBSetup hit 100,000 links“.
I offer the following services:
vbSetup
- Installation and maintenance for vB Hacks
vbOptimize
- Full on-site SEO optimization
vbConsult
- Site evaluation and recommendations for increasing market share
vbBackLinks
- Locate back-link opportunities for your niche and make recommendations for Link Bait
vbRepair
- Fix any code or database errors on your vB Site
vbCustomize
- Hacks custom-programmed for your site
You can see a short list of our Past Clients; we also have several Testimonials listed on the forum. Email me and as much detail as you can give, I’ll then be able to estimate the amount of time for the job.
Estimates are available upon request.
You can Email me @ (webmaster[at]vBulletinSetup.com)

Hello Bob,
It's always best to know exactly what work needs done, that's why I try to use outlook for all client emails, that way we both know exactly what work is being done
If I never received an email about any problems you had, how I can I be expected to fix them?
As I recall we spent several hours on the phone, and then you didn't want me to do any work, which is fine. I don't remember once in the calls of you mentioning any problems.
This was also over a year ago, so my memory might miss a few phone calls.
I am very easy to get a hold of either by email or phone call, I'm sorry you felt I did you wrong. This is the exact reason I don't ask for payments up front (in most cases)
Thanks
-Brandon

Still had my notes, you should have dropped this, but now that you are miss representing the facts here they are.
I waited so long ---- about a week for you to do an upgrade on VB I had someone else do it, guess you forgot how it took a week for you to realize it was done.
Then complained to me your customer after you forgot!
Your PM "What we had originally agree'd on, you broke when you had the host do the upgrade.
I'm sorry, but I had set time aside that do for 3 or 4 hours of work. Since you went ahead and had the host update, which is fine, all you had asked for me to do was install vbseo, and optimize the vbseo and vbulletin settings
Please let me know your paypal email so I can send an invoice off for the work that has been done so far."
But I gave you a second chance to install Vbseo, you first wanted us to "And if you are interested in link building, as I'm sure I mentioned on the phone, I suggest spending $1,000 on links."
You should read up on SEO these links are NG!
Then 4 days later you asked again what I wanted done, so you forgot that quick, real responsible.
Then PM'd "What sorta work are you looking for again ?
Do you need vbseo installed, and vbulletin optimized ?
If you're interested in building backlinks, I'll need the cash first."
your a reneger
No return calls, forgets day to day.
If you don't need a responsible person.......
You really have a lot to learn about business and how to handle work assignments.
Good luck I hope you now realize how your past can bite you!
I suggest you don't follow up I have more that I withheld.
Hello Bob,
I'm not trying to "BS" anyone here
You're calling me out because what I estimated a year ago, was 16 months ago?
I had just finished up a major contract at that time, and I was barely taking on new work, which I'm sure I discussed on the numerous phone calls which where well over an hour.
The moral of the story, is you can't please everyone all the time
I do everything possible to make sure the client is happy, did you spend any money? if so, then why not ask for it back from paypal.
If you have a problem with me, feel free to email me, no need to blow up this thread and ruin it for everyone.
I've never once had an unhappy paying client, and I've have had a number of very happy clients which I linked to in my first post.
ps, the reason for the "forgetful emails" was explained in my last post and why I don't like chatting via PM. I'm very busy and even more these days, if I don't have it in outlook and it's not on my calendar, than it doesn't happen.
Simple as that.

Joe, last post!

Just my two cents on Brandon's work...
The first time I found Brandon on Twitter I needed someone to install a ton of plug-ins quickly and he did the job within 48 hours of inquiry. For the amount of plug-ins and work required his price was exceptionally reasonable.
Yesterday I tried to upgrade to vBulletin 3.8.2 and completely screwed up my forums big time. None of the plug-ins worked anymore and vBSEO was broken too.
Within 10 minutes of sending Brandon a tweet he was on it. We talked on AIM for about an hour to diagnose and figure out the problem and he had the site in even better shape than it was before the upgrade within 2 hours of contact.
I can't speak for the experience of others but I can say for sure that I've found my vBulletin "go to guy" and would certainly recommend him in the future to others looking for customizations/quick fixes.
Thanks Josh for taking the time to post your review. I'm glad we were able to get the site back up and running, even tho it was pretty late in the evening for me
As for this thread, I'm not going to bother past clients to post, if/when they contact me for upgrades (which I get flooded with emails when vb updates) I'll ask them if they don't mind posting.

I am new to the forums, but I must say that I am extremely happy with the work Brandon has done for me. I am like a kid in a candy store knowing that I finally got someone who can do the work I need and really do a great job.
Communication has been awesome, price is very fair, and i can't find anything he can't do. In one day he has fixed months of frustrating problems I have had.
Just wanted to say thanks to Brandon and for anyone looking for a "good one," well you found him!
Thanks for taking the time to post, hopefully we'll get your name orange before to long(vbseo owners have orange names)
You're site was a bit of a challenge because of the out of date unsupported script that it was running, but all in all, it wasn't that bad to get fixed up.
Thanks again for taking the time to post in this thread and I look forward to working with you well into the future![]()
