A contest you guys may be interested in.

I stumbled across this and I will probably join as there is no cost in involved, only the chance to win and win some decent money.

Here it is - SEO Contest

It started with the winner getting $1,000. now, some other websites have jumped in and it looks like the winner may get $4,000.

Since this forum is all about SEO optimizing vBulletin, I figured some of us may as well throw our hat in the ring and see what we can do.

Contest starts January 15. They will announce a keyword to optimize for and the contest will be final May 15. Top 5 positions will pay money and you dont have to spend a time.

Sounds interesting. We have alot of very talented SEOs lurking here. It would be nice to see one of our members walk away with 1st prize.

If the contest is as big as the nigritude ultramarine one, the SEO contracts gained from a victory would be far more valuable than the cash prize.

The previous winner was a VP of a large blog software company, and supposedly leveraged blog-like SEO tactics for a victory. It would be interesting to see forum-based SEO win out in this contest.
