#5 - BoardTracker does not 'steal' content from boards, we do not display whole threads, we do not display replies, we do not show a cached version of your threads. BoardTracker works like any search engine in that it generates a small snippet of a thread which links directly back to the original thread on the board itself. You cannot read threads on boardtracker, you have to visit the board to view it.
I noticed this part. If that's true, then it sounds like they are not taking much more data than a typical RSS feed.

What I saw as a unregistered user is pretty benign. However, their bot collects data as a registered user, and they offer a premium service that might go beyond what's described in the text you quoted. I'm reserving judgement for the long term, not going to worry about it for now.

its more of self promotion thing here, lot of threads from our sites are fully indexed by boardreader.
morever displaying adsense on others content is harmful for sure, we never registered our forums with boardreader infact even banned/disallowed them in robots.txt but still they continue indexing stuff.

They mostly index our content using RSS feeds..

This is how I do it,

Create the user (if not already there), ban the user and the IP address: 62.90.210.65

To remove a your board entirely, make sure you have the following in your robots.txt

User-agent: BoardReader
Disallow: /

In recent past, there is a massive increase in sites like boardreader.com who fetch your forum feed and create there own content rich sites :/
