average server load?

what is your average server load? is 0,50 high or is it low as an average?
i turned on the "database based thread read marker" and i think that my load is getting higher...
i have about 30 registered and 200-250 guests online...

Yes, that option does use more server resources, but it's the only way to accurately keep up with user's read markers. The old cookie method wasn't accurate.

If you're on a dedicated server, depending on the specs, .50 isn't bad.

yes, it a dedicated server. 2.8 ghz p4 with 1024 mb ram.

.50 is the average at rush hour.

0.5 is pretty good for that amount.. when it start getting up to 2+ that's when you should start worrying

load is average 2, used to be over 50 on dual xeon but dual opteron fixed her right up.

My loads are around [0.58 0.52 : 0.38] and both me and my members are pretty happy about it.
