    WriteAPrisoner.com Forum

Thanks to VBSEO's awesome support, we just got our forum back online tonight after upgrading servers. Now that we're up and running, I was hoping to get some feedback on how to better tweak this forum (with VBSEO or in general). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated: WriteAPrisoner.com - Prison Forum

    Thanks!

I'd remove the arcade from your site. Even if it's popular, it makes it feel a bit less professional, and doesn't fit your niche at all.

    Clean up your markup errors.

The speed of your site is pretty bad and where i would spend most of my time if it were my site. You should focus on optimizing your server some or adding more hardware to it.
WebPagetest - Dulles : www.write...-prison-92514.html shows 31 seconds for first load. It should be 3-5 for an average site. 31 is simply unacceptable by ANY standards.

Thanks, Brian! The load time issue is a result from moving to a new server. It's a configuration issue with Fast CGI, and we're working on it. I really appreciate the suggestions on the rest of it, and I'm looking into correcting them now.
